New York-based facialist Fabricio Ormonde has more than 15 years of training in physiology, wellness, and facial aesthetics. Ormonde prefers a more holistic method, rather than relying solely on quick fixes such as Botox and filler.
Wear Sunscreen Daily. Sun damage is one of the worst offenders to your skin. Protect your skin from sun exposure by using a daily sunscreen to avoid premature signs of aging, including fine lines, wrinkles, and discolouration.
- Don’t Pick your Skin. Fabricio says that popping pimples leads to scabbing, which may cause scarring in extreme cases. It can also spread the bacteria making the situation worse.
- Don’t Over Exfoliate. Fabricio prefers chemical exfoliants, rather than abrasive ones and less is more. For most skin types, exfoliating one to three times per week is sufficient.
