-
Wear Sunscreen Daily. Sun damage is one of the worst offenders to your skin. Protect your skin from sun exposure by using a daily sunscreen to avoid premature signs of aging, including fine lines, wrinkles, and discolouration.
- Don’t Pick your Skin. Fabricio says that popping pimples leads to scabbing, which may cause scarring in extreme cases. It can also spread the bacteria making the situation worse.
- Don’t Over Exfoliate. Fabricio prefers chemical exfoliants, rather than abrasive ones and less is more. For most skin types, exfoliating one to three times per week is sufficient. Have you tried the Medik8 Press and Glow? The hydrating acid toner that helps to exfoliate the surface of the complexion for noticeable everyday glow.
4. Stay Hydrated. Hydration is key to flawless skin. Water flushes all of the impurities and toxins out of your body. Drink at least eight to 10 glasses of water daily. Also, introduce hyaluronic acid into your skincare routine. Try the Medik8 Hydr8 B5. Enriched with vitamin B5 to improve skin’s water retention and regeneration, skin is left plump and noticeably hydrated.
5. Invest in Retinol. Fabricio believes retinol is the gold standard when it comes to skin rejuvenation. He recommends integrating it into your skincare regimen slowly and gently to avoid redness and irritation.
We have a range of Medik8 Crystal Retinol Products online here.
You can choose from 1, 3 and 6 depending on the strength required. It’s always best to start low to get your skin used to the product, before working your way up.
