Following our Lip Blush new service announcement, we’ve received a lot of questions. We thought it would be best to answer them all in a blog for you! We are so obsessed with our new Lip Tattoo service, it’s the perfect way to correct asymmetry and create an even colour on your lips.

Here are a few Lip Blush FAQs and if we haven’t answered your question below, feel free to book a consult with our Lip Tattoo Specialist in Melbourne or Perth.

Can I have Lip Tattoo if i have Lip Filler?

Of course! You can still get lip blush even if you've had lip filler. Just make sure you communicate your lip filler history with your lip tattoo artist for optimal results.

Does Lip Blush hurt?

A numbing cream is applied to help dull any irritation and as with any cosmetic tattooing procedure you may experience slight discomfort which varies for everyone. Your Lip Blushing specialist can guide you through the process and what to expect during your consultation.

How long does Lip Tattoo last?

The longevity of lip blush typically ranges up to two years. This can be influenced by factors such as lifestyle, skin type, and post-procedure lip care. Just like your brow tattoo, regular touch-ups are advised to maintain lip colour and shape.

How long does a lip tattoo appointment take?

The appointment takes about 2-3 hours, including consultation and post-tattoo care instructions. Our skilled lip tattoo specialist will collaborate with you to tailor a personalised service, considering your natural lip tone and shape, to achieve your lip tattoo goals.

Can I wear lipstick after my Lip Tattoo?

Yes, you can wear lipstick or lip products 7 days after your lip blushing appointment. Though you may not want to! It isn't recommended to wear any lip plumpers or anything else with active ingredients for at least 6 weeks. Your Lip Tattoo Specialist will go through your post care instructions at your appointment.

Can anyone have Lip Blush?

Lip blush is suitable for almost everyone, but it’s essential to address and discuss your medical history with your lip artist before the procedure.
