Paris Fashion Week

Paris Fashion Week is one of the most exciting times of the year for us here at Alison Jade, and this year was no exception.  With the show coming to an end, we thought we'd share with you our favourite looks from Spring/Summer 2014 Paris Fashion Week. 

We saw natural flawless makeup, to an art inspired eye by Chanel. But for us here at Alison Jade, it was Dior's gilded brows by Pat McGrath that have left their mark!

It was all about Gilded Brows at the Christian Dior Show. Make up artist Pat McGrath created the "brocade brow" by bleaching the hair and then gluing layers of powders, glitters, and pigments over one another.

We loved the art inspired eyes at the Chanel show. According to The Cut, makeup artist Peter Phillips created hand-painted, pigment-splattered eyes in at least five different colors (yellow, teal, jungle-green, purple, red) to offer a wide-eyed look. 

John Galliano kept it simple with bright lips and bold brows, two of our favourite things teamed together how could we not love! 

Perfect statement brows and flawless dewy skin at the Louis Vuitton Show.
